We invite submissions closely
related to mathematics in biomedical imaging and radiation
therapy planning. The emphases cover theoretical analysis,
algorithm design, system modeling and assessment. Papers on
feasibility and concepts of futuristic imaging and therapeutic
modalities are also welcome. Suggested topics include but are
not restricted to:
-
X-ray CT and
phase-contrast imaging/tomography
-
Radiation therapy
planning, intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT),
image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), and proton therapy
-
Magnetic resonance
imaging (MRI), positron emission tomography (PET) and single
photon emission computed tomography (SPECT)
-
Optical tomography and
optical microscopy
-
Electron microscopy and
other nano-scale imaging modalities
-
Molecular imaging
techniques
-
Advanced image analysis
methods and applications
-
Analytic and iterative
solutions to problems in the above fields
We wish to have ready for use
by all participants at the start of the Conference a Booklet of
